Our design and layout for this difficult lot received praise from the architects on the review commitee at the urban design panel for both the rezoning and DP stages.

A small lot with a steep slope, this site seemed to better lend itself to the design of either a low-rise or mid-rise residential structure than to a row of townhomes.

In order to give townhome access to all seven units, I piggy-backed the townhomes to create a two-storey lower home with entry from the street below a double storey upper home with entry and den on the main floor off the inner courtyard.  

The street front is clad in brick while the unfortunate rear is covered in rock-dash stucco.
