This eleven storey concrete residential highrise is located at the intersection of 8th Avenue and Pine in Kitsilano. Prima Properties Ltd. hired both Gateway Architecture inc. and Creative DesignWorks to develope both the architectural program and the interior design program.
The building has two underground parkade levels and private courtyard off the main floor amenity. The C.O.V. required a water detention area for an
excessive rainfall scenario (located below the hydroslab pavers of the courtyard).
This project received unanimous ap-proval from the Urban Design Panel and the DP board of the C.o.V. The tower includes concave and convex forms that create a striking profile.
The general contractor for the project was ITC Construction Group.
