This project best represents our fixation with the color orange. Orange seemed to find its way into many of our early projects, but it is this project that initiated the move toward it.
The request by the client was a simple one : create an area in the center of an old building for the gathering of people and a lecturer. The design of the lecturer's podium quickly became
the centerpiece. As the slide show was to be given in the dark, it struck us that any crowd gathered a the foot of the podium would resemble a group of hunter gatherers huddled around a glowing, hot fire listening to the head of the clan speak. We wanted the podium to glow with warmth.
The orange was carried over into the interactive computer tables provided.
