This project represents a last minute decision to present the firm to the public at a lecture we had promised to give at the american university of vienna the following day.
We had been assigned two rooms for the lecture : one for the lecture itself and a large neighbouring foyer on whose walls we were to display any past / current projects we wished to share with the public. With little time to spend preparing for either, we decided to build a three-dimensional form, simply wall-paper the surface with the currently circulating flyers announcing our lecture and set it in the middle of the foyer space. People were meant to gather around it prior to the lecture.
Our main challenge at this point was time. After a quick computer generated form and purchasing all neccesary materials we began construction a around 9:00 p.m. on the eve of the lecture. By the time the lecture kicked off at 4:00 p.m on the following day, we had not only prepared and rehersed the lecture, but constructed and transported our wall-papered sculpture... which we named super heated ice.
