Spin was designed and developed with DUNE, a furniture manufacturer / retailer in New York (www.dune-ny.com), but never developed beyond the concept stage.
Spin is a low arm-chair consisting of an upholstered polyurethane padded body situated on a swivel metal stand with adjustable height control.
Like a piece of fruit, the body of spin is designed with an outer skin enveloping an interior solid. By cutting away a section of the body, the skin is broken and the internal solid revealed. Atten-tion has been given to heighten this relationship between skin and interior through the use of polarizing colors and contrasting fabric texture
